Today is our one month LIDaversary. So what did we do to celebrate? We went out with Michelle and Mark, our friends and travel mates, to Cora's for brunch. I figured it was time for me to meet Mark and for Shawn to get involved as well.
We had such a good time! Mark and Michelle are the cutest, sweetest couple. Over a hearty brunch we talked about everything too, not just the adoption but current things that are going on in the community, family eccentricities, work, cars, computers and even the blogging world. It got to the point where we were finished and the waitress came to remind us that we could pay at the cash. We took it as our cue that we had stayed too long after she cleared the dishes.
I'm so glad that we are in the same group and that we live so close together. I can see our friendship growing during our wait and well beyond that. I'm sure our girls will get to grow up together and become fast friends as well.
