Iced in

I got up this morning to get ready to go to work as I always do. After listening to the news on the radio and taking a peak out the window I saw that our entire street was covered in ice. I decided then that it would be a better idea to stay at home rather than risk going out on ice. So here we are.

Shawn is working from home (lucky guy) and I'm just cleaning up a bit around the house. I also took the time to update our quilt blog. We're up to about 33 squares now, we still have a long way to go. If anybody is interested in exchanging squares and we haven't done so yet, just email me and I'll happily get a square out to you.

Wow, we got quite the snow storm today. I'll take snow over ice any day!! Drive safely!

The school buses were cancelled today, but because we are a glorified babysitting service at times, students still get dropped off by their parents. So, I always have to risk my life to get to school despite the warnings. I would have much rather stayed in my PJs and kept warm today. Luckily the weekend is here and I can rest up. :)

Wow, it's so hard to beleive that it is iced over in one town when it is really hot and humid here. I haven't even had the AC off. You just forget that other folks are cold out there.

Stay warm and safe. If we haven't swapped squared, I'd love to swap. I just can't remember right off hand if we have or haven't. Email me through my sidebar if not.

I agree with you, Winter Sucks.
I also worked from home on both the ice and storm day.....what a relief. The city is crazy in bad weather!

I am confident that we are close to the end of all this cold blustering snow!

Count me in on the quilt square! I just want to get DTC before I go out to buy my fabric! And I need to see what my DTC group is going to do.....I feel like I might, possibly, maybe be all most there! ;)
