Last night we had the pleasure of joining Rhonda and Josh, Michelle and Mark and Heather and John for dinner at the Canyon Creek. We'd obviously met Rhonda, Josh, Michelle and Mark before, this was our first time meeting Heather and John as they made their way here from south of the border. Just like when we met our other bloggy friends, we had a blast with Heather and John. They were so creative, they brought us mugs with the headers of our blogs on them. I was very impressed by the originality. They came with a keychain of a little shovel so we can all "dig our way to China".
When Rhonda made the reservations at the restaurant, she asked if we could have a round table so it would be easier for everyone to talk to each other. They asked Rhonda if she was having a meeting and she replied "Yeah, something like that..." When they called to confirm the reservation they told her that since we were having a meeting, they gave us the private dining room! It was fantastic, we didn't have to miss out on any conversation or yell over anybody else.
We compared our adoption stories, family stories, work stories and just about everything else. The conversation flowed so easily as it always does when we meet our bloggy friends. We sat down at 7 and left the restaurant past midnight. We were the last ones to leave the place (what a bunch of party animals we are).
Thanks everyone for such a great time! Next time, we'll make sure to go down and meet Heather and John in their neck of the woods.

OMG, we had SUCH a great time - all we did was talk about it all the way home!!!! And you ALL are MORE than welcome to come down for a gathering - we would LOVE LOVE LOVE that!
The drive is super easy, and we already discussed coming back up there as soon as the weather is better!
I love the round table idea. Sounds like such a good idea. I'm going to try that the next time we have a big group. I think I may need to make a trip to Ontario to meet you people.....:-)
You are such a popular couple! I wish that we lived closer.
Sounds like you guys had some great conversation. Your bloggy mug is too cute.
I just left this message on your bloggy gal's site...I can't think of a better weekend than it being filled with friends, food and fun!
