Oh the agony!

I wrote yesterday how I was doing ok after our bike ride. I wrote too soon. This morning I woke up with stiff legs, stick neck and a sore tushie. Boy was I in pain today. I still went on my eliptical trainer today and I plan on going on my bike either tomorrow or the day after. I have to get myself ready for the Ride for Heart, which is less than a month away. In all honesty, the physical pain I feel right now is nothing compared to the emotional pain I've been through the past six months. So I will keep walking and I will keep pedaling and I will remember my mom with every step I take, with every kilometre I complete, because it's for her that I'm doing this.

Good for you, sweet girl! The best decision you made was gettig on that elliptical despite the soreness. You will shorten up the timeframe that the soreness will last because of it. :)

You made the best decision to get back on the horse/bike. You will get there.
We did the Ride for Heart a few years ago. I will tell you a trick. If you stare only a few inches in front of the front tire you can't really see the hills. It looks flat and you can fool you legs into thinking it is just a flat surface. Of course it helps to have someone riding with you who is looking up so you don't crash into another rider.

I got my brown eyed girl t-shirt from Target in the States, I have a friend in Florida who sent it to me. She just sent it a few weeks ago so if you know anyone in the states get them to check for you.

That's exactly why I don't ride a bike...that and because I don't actually have a bike...

Doing something to remember a loved one is very therapeutic. Good for you! Your mom would be proud!!!
