Some pictures

I had a hard time posting this one, sorry for the delay. Before we left, our adoptive friends got together and threw us a goodbye party. Michelle and Mark graciously opened their home to us and our friends to host a lovely event. In attendance were K1 and K2, Rhonda and Josh, Catherine and Cari and Dateboy (do you still call him that?). It was such a lovely evening. I had one rule, no one was allowed to make me cry. Of course that flew out the window towards the end of the evening. This inspirational plaque was given to us by Rhonda and Josh. I am going to hang it by the front door as soon as we get our house.

K1 and K2 gave us this sushi set. I'll break it open when you guys come by to visit us (hint, hint) and we find a decent sushi place in town.

Everyone also signed a scrapbook page with their wishes for us and a space to place a picture of the group.

I was BAWLING by the end of the evening. Even though it's really late, thank you all for such a wonderful evening.

Here are some pictures from our road trip. We didn't take a lot because we didn't really stop except to eat and sleep.

Jazz watching the world go by.

Wisconsin, famous for cheese.

Jazz mellowed out at my feet.

North Dakota sunset.

Saskatchewan...notice the flatness.

Stopping at Dog River! (AKA, Rouleau, Saskatchewan).

The grain elevator from the show.

The Dog River Hotel. This is an actual hotel/restaurant and we stopped in for lunch.

The main set, all boarded up for the winter.

You have an amazing group there. I love the plaque that you were given. Do not be too upset, they aren't going anywhere. They will always bet here for you.
