Nesting

I've got a terrible urge to nest. I don't know what's brought this on. We haven't done too many changes to our house, we kept the same window coverings and the same light fixtures (most of which I hate). We changed the floor on the main level, installed a new vanity in our powder room and that's about it. To be honest, this house being only 4 years old doesn't need anything to change. We also don't want to put too much money into the house because we're not going to be here forever. But I still feel like changing things.

Maybe I'm just hormonal, or maybe this place doesn't really feel like ours yet because there are still touches from the previous owners. Either way, I'll probably be making some changes, but since I don't know where to start, I may be asking for some advice in the very near future.

May I suggest you paint all the walls bright purple? No? What? No sense of adventure.....:-)

Have fun nesting. It's one of my favourite things to do....:-)

I love redecorating. Haven't done it in awhile but I do like it. Ask away. Craig likes it when I spend other peoples money and not his. LOL

Miss you.

Painting is a cheap and cheerful way to add some colour and personality to your home...as long as you hire someone to do it otherwise it is too much like work.

Happy New Year...miss you guys.

Indeed...make your place your own. I'm all about that.

The previous owners of my house wouldn't be able to identify it ;0)

Happy LIDversary, by the way. Not sure if you 'celebrate.'

Change is good. Especially if it makes your house feel more like a home.
