Earlier this year, my mom knitted a sweater for my nephew (such a grandma thing to do). So now she said to be fair, she wants to knit something for her granddaughter. Of course the problem is that we don't know how big/small the baby is because chances are she isn't even born yet. So her compromise is she's knitting her a blanket. So this will be one of our baby's special blanket because it was knitted with all the love, hope and anticipation that only a grandma has.
