We Were "Wicked"

During this long, long wait to get our baby, we are blessed to have people around us that are willing to keep us very busy. Last night we went to see the musical "Wicked". We were lucky enough to see the show with Shelley who is always a blast whenever we go out with her. I'm no Ebert but I have to say that it was spectacular! It was so funny, the actors were so talented, the costumes amazing! I was laughing to so hard my face was hurting. At the same time there were also very tender moments. If you've read the book, it is a bit different, more light hearted than the book but the skeleton is still there.

On Thursday night, Shelley and Harold were kind enough to invite us to a Raptors game where they one (what a difference a year can make). It was so much fun because we were surrounded by amazing people.

Thank you Shelley and Harold for making this journey of ours easier. We love you guys!

Two nights out in a row!! Lucky you! We all need to find ways to make the time pass faster - while being enjoyable, but at the same time, we don't want to "wish" away the next 1 1/2 years!!

Right now I say that I just want China to know that I am here. Then of course I am going to want my LID, then naturally I want my referral and travel dates, then my baby home...it goes on and on...

Waiting for DTC - Day 24...

OOOooohhhh, I have a friend who is going to see Wiched tonight. She is so excited to see it and has been talking about it all week. I'm glad that you enjoyed it and that you are finding good ways to keep yourselves busy. From the looks of things at this point, we will be waiting for a long time.
