Renovation Chaos

Sometimes I start a project and it seems like a good idea. Then it starts and I wonder what the heck have I gotten myself into. I'm at that stage right now with the powder room. The vanity that we've chosen looks something like this which means that this was going to cause a problem. We've decided that we're going to try to bury the pipe in the wall. So now we have this. I'm going to go and close the door now and not look at it. Maybe it will go away.

Good luck with the renos. I like the vanity that you have chosen!

It will all come together in the end, so fear not. It sucks to have to be in the middle of it all, but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.

The thought of Craig doing a reno at our house actually frightens me. He can network the computers, probably wire the house to have it operate on a computer but install a sink?!? I'm just not too sure.

Love the vanity you've chosen!

Oooh, that looks tricky! You're right, best to just close the door. I love the vanity though!

I think that the vanity is very nice, and honestly it looks like the pipe will work now (I'm far from a plumber though).
I do really like that vanity.

Hi Dolores & Shawn

My name is Tammy and my husband Mike and I are in group 272 with CB. I came across your blog as I was jumping from blog to blog and link to link - sometimes it seems that there just isn't enough time to read all the blogs you come across!! We too have a very long wait ahead of us and like you - are in the middle of some house renovations well actually finishing our basement! I would love for you to visit our blog - I am finding the more people that I have to talk to through this long process the easier it seems to be. I was noticing most of your group members are within visiting distance - that is nice! The closest person in our group is approx 2.5 hours away no one really keeps in contact. Anyways, hope to hear from you soon and goodluck with the reno's!!

Yeah...close the door. I envy you...My staircase had the carpet ripped off, to find hardwood underneath...that needs to be stripped of the yucky paint chips...can't close the door!!!
