Sometimes life really sucks. For the past couple of years, one of my neighbours has been fighting against a brain tumour. He was only given a couple of months to live but he fought and survived. Last night though, he couldn't do it anymore and passed away quietly. His wife was with him so he wasn't alone. My thoughts are with our neighbours as I know all to well what they are going through. I hope they feel the love and support from us and I hope they know they are not alone as we have wonderful neighbours. I know there is nothing that I can say to make things better for them. All I can do is be there when they need me.

My heart goes out to your neighbors... I can't imagine, though certainly can empathize with their loss. Let them know we in this strange blog world are praying for them- may memories of his life offer a lasting peace.
