Thank you everyone for all your words of comfort and support. The past couple of weeks have not been good. Work has not been good. I can't quite post about it here but those that I've been in touch with know about the details. Then my sister moved out to Evil Alberta, then we got word about the wait. It's just been one thing after another. I'm glad I have my bloggy friends here who understand my frustrations and anxieties. Like I said before, I never thought the road to parenthood would be so difficult but I guess it's like Miss Cleo said we will be able to tell our children how we've fought so hard for our family. In the mean time, just keep waiting.
I'm doing better. We've been keeping busy all weekend. We went to see my aunt yesterday and today we went strawberry picking with Shawn's cousin Jay and his girlfriend Vivienne. We then went to a driving range. I've never been to one before so it was interesting. I managed to hit the ball more that I missed it. Granted it didn't go very high nor did it go very far but I hit it and that's all that matters. And tomorrow is Monday but at least next weekend is a long weekend. YIPEEE!

Hey! We should make our sisters switch places, then we wouldn't miss them so much! :-)
Seriously, though, I do understand. Us here in Evil Alberta will do our best to make her feel at home. :-)
(We're not all bad, you know...:-))
I am so sorry that things are crappy with you...
I hope work gets better or changes...
I will do what I can to help make the wait better and pass the time until your sister comes back home.
I try to avoid Mondays myself.
How did you like golf ball hitting? There is some power in knocking of those out. But it sucks when you take a big swing and then you miss.
I wish we lived closer, because then we could keep each other busy during the wait! I'm glad to hear you're doing better... I DO understand your frustration, I really do...
You are one of the people whose blog I come to for peace and a breath of fresh air. I'm sorry that you are struggling. Guess it's my turn to give you some peace. You are not alone and you have a lot of friends out here.
How true that quote is from Miss Cleo. I am going to remember that.
I am glad you are keeping busy. That does help. I hope things start looking up soon, especially at work. That has got to be hard.
Thinking of you.
We should get Shawn and Jeremy together and go to the driving range as a group. It would be fun - though I normally limit myself to mini golf - less chance of embarrassment there!
Hope work gets better for you- take care!
Glad you're feeling a bit better. That sucks that work isn't good right now; nothing worse than dreading going to work. You probably took some frustration out on those balls! *grin*

Glad you're feeling better. It has seemed like one thing after another hasn't it. I hope that I can see you and Shawn a little more over the summer and help pass the time away.
Take care.
