My laptop died this week. Actually, the monitor kinda half snapped off the bottom part. The hard drive is still there so I haven't lost anything this time but Shawn decided that it was time to update and upgrade. I rely on him and his expertise because I know nothing of these things. I've always been a PC kinda gal because that's all I've ever used. Well guess what he came home with? A MacBook. I've used a Mac all of 3 times in my life. I stay away from them because they scare me. There's no right mouse button, their buttons are on the left instead of right for their web browser, there are a whole bunch of icons at the bottom and I have NO idea what they do. Shawn said he will partition the hard drive so I can go into PC mode when I need to but I'm realizing very quickly that I need some serious help. If I have a party, will someone who knows how to use a Mac come over and show me? I know there's at least one person out there who knows how this thing works (I would link to her blog but I don't even know how to do that with this!!)

LUCKY GIRL!!!!!!!! Do you have any idea how much I long for one of those sweet machines? Sigh...it's just so pretty.
I would be happy to help you understand what a beautiful Mac is all about. Perhaps you, Lisa and I should get together soon. I think she needs a tutorial as well. :)

You sound like Kim (Chasing Channing). She bought a Mac laptop before the trip to China and is still cursing it! (it scares the crap out of her too!)
I really can't comment on the Mac as I too have not used one.
I do know that people who do would NEVER use something else!!

congrats on your great new toy! I don't have a mac but have used 1 in the Apple store and also at Kathy's...fun! They can do so many neat things. Enjoy!
